Open Source software provides users with the source code. It helps prevent vendor lock-in, you can make changes to it directly, and it is often free as well. But how mature is it?

This seminar will guide you through the specifics of Free Open Source Software (FOSS) and it isn’t just about technology. The seminar also addresses issues such as license types, hidden costs, support and quality. Practical demos, tutorials of audio & video tools and distribution platforms are included.

Join us in determining how relevant Free Open Source Software is for the media industry. You will be guided by Erwin Blom, Head of the digital department of one of Europe’s most innovative broadcasters.
