2008-2009 EBU Master School on Radio Feature - 4th edition

Target group:
EBU members
10-12 young radio producers selected by a jury after a call for applications
Objectives: to promote a new generation of European radio documentary producers
  to facilitate the transfer of craftmanship, tips, and techniques to the new generation
  to foster the production of high-quality radio documentaries
Description:

Course content 

The selected pool of young radio producers benefits from the unique expertise of experienced professionals in writing, developing and producing quality radio features which have the potential to reach a European audience.   

This long-term training course includes:   

  • two mastercourses 
  • on-line coaching    
  • production of a personal feature                   

Programme    

Stage 1 – On-line coaching 
From 1 February to 8 March 2008   

Stage 2 – Master course I 
RBB, Berlin, 9-12 March 2008   

Stage 3 – Homework & On-line coaching 
15 March – 21 June 2008   

Stage 4 – Master course II 
VRT, Brussels, 22-24 June 2008   

Stage 5 – On-line coaching  
From June to October 2008   

Stage 6 – Final editing  
Deadline: 15 December 2008   

Stage 7 – Final Production  
Deadline: January 2009   

Production should be completed and sent to EBU International Training.
