Lisbeth Jessen (born 1956) studied at the University of Copenhagen 1975.
1980, studied and graduated from Danish School of Journalism 1980-84, studied at The Fudan University in Shanghai 1986-87, and studied at the National Film School of Denmark 1989-90.
She began working for radio at DR in 1984 on youth programs.
During the last 15 years she has produced several features in various genres, from the classical Danish style to programs carried by investigative journalism.
Winner in 1998 at the Prix Italia with "Why didn't she ring back?" and again in 2003 with "After the party" - same year Special Rec. at the Prix Europa also with "After the party". Different national prizes as well together with her Radio Documentary Group.
Coach at EBU International Training Master School 2004 - 2005.
Now producing both radio features and television features.
