Activities Since opening in 1993, the EBU's Public Affairs office in Brussels has been responsible for defending the interests of the EBU and its Members vis-ą-vis the European institutions. The office's main lobbying activities are: - Representing the interests of the EBU and its Members vis-ą-vis the European institutions;
- Monitoring on a permanent basis the activities of the European institutions and forwarding all relevant information to Members;
- Assisting and advising Members which are not represented in Brussels;
- Representing the EBU within organizations - such as the CEEP and EIF - and participating on European platforms;
- Promoting the image of the EBU and public service media through public relations activities.
