The EBU Folk & Traditional Music Group initiates and manages various specific projects: the EBU Easter and Christmas projects, the EBU Folk Music special (every two years) and many others. 

The EBU Folk Music Festival takes place every year, with EBU organizations supporting artists to perform at the festival. 

The 30th EBU Folk Festival will take place in Cologne on 23-25 October at the kind invitation of WDR (Germany)
