The NRG not only coordinates its activities with new media groups in the Technical and TV Departments, but also maintains a close working relationship with the Legal and SIS Departments. 

The objectives of the New Radio Group are:

• to organise a Digital Radio Conference
• to commission studies and surveys if and when requested by Members
• to organise ad-hoc workshops if and when requested by Members
• to create a network of radio New Media managers
• to provide a tool for the exchange of relevant information, including reports 
• to provide an online forum for the discussion of key strategic, content and technology issues
