The BNR website (www.bnr.bg) has just been awarded the first prize in the News category of the most prestigious Bulgarian Web Contest - BG Site 2004. 

179 websites competed in 15 categories for this year's Bulgarian web Oscars. The site was also voted No 1 by people surfing the Internet in Bulgaria. 

The BNR Multimedia team, who is in charge of the development of the radio website, was initially trained online on New Media technologies by EBU International Training. Most of the team members are currently taking part in an advanced EBU International Training online course on marketing, archives and sound on the web.
