Head of Programme Planning, Ulla Martikainen-Florath, M.A., has been appointed Director of Programmes at YLE Teema. She has worked previously as Head of Programming and as Head of Programmes ordering science and educational programmes at YLE Teema. Prior to that, she was Head of YLE Educational Programmes.

Ilkka Talasranta, M.Sc. (Drama and Pedagogy), continues as Head of Programmes for YLE Entertainment Programmes. 

Producer Teija Rantala has been appointed Head of Programmes FOR YLE Children’s and Youth Programmes. She has previously worked in YLE Current Affairs Programmes as Producer, Duty Editor and Reporter. 

Airi Vilhunen, M.A., has been appointed Head of Programmes for YLE Cultural Programmes. She has previously worked as Head of YLE Weekly Programmes. 

Jyrki Richt, M.Sc. (Soc. Sc.), has been appointed Director of Programmes for YLE Current Affairs Programmes. He has previously worked as Head of YLETV2 Current Affairs. 

Ari Ylä-Anttila M.Sc. (Pol. Sc.) has been appointed Director of Programmes at YLE Factual Programmes. He has previously worked as Head of YLETV1 Documentary Programmes. 

Marko Vainio M.Sc. (Econ.), has been appointed Head of Marketing for Television. 

These appointments take effect as of 1st March 2005.
