International North-South 
Media Festival 

The 22nd International North–South Media Festival is being held at the Bâtiment des Forces Motrices, in Geneva, from 11 to 14 October. The theme this year is "Global warming and inequalities among those facing the threat".

Four days will be dedicated to evaluating the problem, understanding its causes and preparing for its consequences through use of the media, listening to the advice of experts and key players in the field.

Télévision Suisse Romande (TSR) and Radio Suisse Romande (RSR) will cover the event from the venue. The French-speaking television channel TV5 is once again taking part as one of the Festival's partners. A live duplex transmission from the USA ought to be offered for a debate thanks to a partnership with the EBU.
