EBU Members swept the board at the International Emmy Awards in New York on Tuesday.
Of the nine "i-Emmys" up for grabs, the BBC took three (with Little Britain, Life On Mars and Hiroshima winning in the comedy, drama and documentary categories respectively).
Channel 4 won the reality category with Ramsay's Kitchen Nightmares (reality) and the children and young people category with Sugar Rush. Ray Winstone won the best actor category for his part in ITV's Vincent.
Maryam Hassouni won the best actress award for her role in Offers, produced by VARA, part of the EBU's Dutch Member.
Teleradio Moldova received the International Children's Day of Broadcasting Award against competition from Bangladesh, Colombia, Gambia, Spain and Syria.
ZDF/ARTE and EuroArts Music International won in the Arts Programming category for their coproduction entitled Knowledge is the Beginning. The story focuses on the West-Eastern Divan Orchestra, made up of young Arabs and Jews who perform side by side. The programme illustrates how prejudices are overcome during rehearsals, concerts and the celebrations afterwards.
