At its meeting in Geneva on 30 November 2006 the EBU's Administrative Council approved the appointment of Ms Jane Vizard as the EBU's new Director of Legal and Public Affairs. 

Jane Vizard     

Ms Vizard is currently the Head of the Corporate Legal and Intellectual Property Department of the BBC and the Chairman of the EBU's Legal and Public Affairs Committee. She will take up her new post at the EBU headquarters in June 2007, following the retirement of 
Mr Werner Rumphorst.
