Junior Eurovision Song Contest 

Congratulations to Russia and the Tolmatchevy twins Maria and Anastasia who won the fourth Junior Eurovision Song Contest in Bucharest on Saturday.

In total, 18 countries broadcast the song contest, 15 of them taking part and the remaining three broadcasting the show only (Andorra RTVA, Bosnia-Herzegovina PBS BIH and Australia SBS).

The final results of the JESC 2006 are as follows:

  8. Cyprus, Luis Panagiotou & Christina Christofi (CyBC) 
  9. Ukraine, Nazar Slyusarchuk (NTU) 
  10. Croatia, Mateo (HRT) 
  11. Malta, Sophie (MTPBS)
  12. The Netherlands, Kimberly (AVRO)
  13. Greece, Chloe Boleti (ERT) 
  14. Portugal, Pedro (RTP) 
  15. FYR Macedonia, Zana Aliu (MKRTV)   

The next Junior ESC will take place on 8 December 2007 in Rotterdam, the Netherlands.
