The EBU has commissioned a new animated corporate logo (EBU and Eurovision), and produced a new recording of the Eurovision signature tune. From today, this is the only version of the EBU and Eurovision animated  logos authorised for use for broadcast or video production.

The Vienna Philharmonic Orchestra worked closely with the EBU to produce the new high quality recording of the instantly recognizable Eurovision signature tune, Te Deum, by Marc Antoine Charpentier. It signalled the beginning of the New Year’s concert and was the first time the new animated logo was shown.

Both animated EBU and Eurovision logos are available in 8 second 16 second and 32 second versions on DigiBeta and Beta SP tapes. The 8 second version in SD will be included in the EVN on 13 February at 12.45 GMT.
