On 13 October, on invitation of EBU President Jean-Paul Philippot (RTBF), the EBU Brussels office organised a visit to the newly opened Magritte Museum in Brussels followed by a dinner for the EBU Executive Board and a number of Members of the European Parliament.

The President of the European Parliament, Mr Jerzy Buzek, also participated in the event, addressed the audience with a short speech and met with Europe's public service media senior executives. 

The dinner meeting provided an excellent opportunity to exchange views on all headline issues related to media and to share the political challenges of the new Parliament.
