Another success for the 2010 Eurosonic Festival
 | Once again, young artists demonstrated the variety and vitality of the current European musical scene. The EBU and its Radio Members enjoyed a high profile thanks to their support of these musicians.
Participants greatly appreciated the wealth of fringe events, including two conferences organized by the EBU on multimedia radio and new music distribution platforms, which both drew large audiences.

| Mention should be made of the joint transmissions during the Festival by two of our Members, Pure FM (Belgium) and Le Mouv' (France). Broadcasting from a studio above the legendary Vera Hall, two presenters, one from each station, co-hosted a programme during the 20.00-22.00 time slot, featuring interviews and concert excerpts. |  |
 | Kaizers Orchestra's exclusive concert at the showcase organized by the EBU for professionals and journalists proved to be a musical highlight of the Festival. With their customary drive, the band performed new material from their forthcoming album.
This showcase was also, however, the opportunity for members of the Eurosonic Group to meet and build important contacts with journalists and the music industry. It even appears that Kaizers Orchestra was able to fill in some gaps in its bookings thanks to this showcase.
We can already look forward to the next Eurosonic Festival in January 2011.
