France Télévisions' President Patrick de Carolis has appointed former EBU Director General Jean Réveillon to the position of advisor and new project supervisor.

Reporting directly to the FT director-general, Jean Réveillon will be in charge of supporting projects under development.

As part of his new job he will be coordinating the new FT information portal project, in close collaboration with the editors-in-chief of the various channels.

He took up the position on 2 February 2010.
