International Feature Conference
|

The 29th International Feature Conference,
hosted this year by the Canadian
Broadcasting Corporation, is taking place in Toronto,
Canada, from 30 August to 4 September.
Participants will attend listening sessions, group discussions
as well as workshops on the following themes:  | How I did it (and what would you have done?)
by 1999 Prix Europa winner Kari Hesthamar, from NRK, Norway; |  | The Art of Narration, presented by Ljubo
Pauzin, from HRT, Croatia, and Chris Brookes, from Radio
Newfoundland, CBC, Canada; |  | The Canadian Ear, presented by
Steve Wadhams, Bernie Lucht and Priya Ramu, CBC Radio, Canada. |
A plenary presentation will be given on
the EBU Master School For Young Documentary
Makers. Elections of the new EBU Features Project Group will also take
place during the conference. The International Feature Conference was launched in
Berlin in 1975. It is an annual event and takes place in a
