The Eurovision network is ensuring live coverage of the 2003 World Athletics Championships which are taking place in Paris between 23 and 31 August.

Eurovision provides footage to 52 broadcasters in some 50 countries and carries around 85 hours of live coverage, 25 multilateral transmissions and some 300 unilaterals during the nine-day championships.

A cumulative global audience of 
4.5 billion is expected during the competition.
