The Svetozár Stracina Grand
Prix, an international competition of folk music
recordings, will take place from 13 to 15 March in
Bratislava.
Slovak Radio is both the organizer and the
host for this event.
More than a competition, this event will be
an opportunity to highlight the wealth of today's folk and
traditional music all over Europe.
The following EBU Members are taking part
in the festival: VRT (Belgium), BTRC (Belarus), BNR (Bulgaria), CR
(Czech Republic), YLE (Finland), RTE (Ireland), LR (Latvia), MR
(Hungary), PR (Poland), SR (Slovakia), RTVSLO (Slovenia) and NRU
(Ukraine).
