In order to provide its users with quicker and easier access to news items, live event coverage and feedpoints/special operations during this period of heightened news activity, the www.eurovision.net homepage has been redesigned to provide users with 'one-click' access to key tools on the site.

In the centre of the page, users now see a list of the current special operations in the Gulf: Baghdad, Kuwait and Doha, with additional feedpoints added as events demand. Links lead the users directly to feedpoint information pages, booking detail for each event and an e-mail contact address for bookings or enquiries. Users must log in to access these pages.

In the right-hand column, the "Quick Links" shows four banner-size graphics.

The Iraq Today banner leads to a rundown page of all news items on the war.

The PNN Today (Permanent News Network) banner leads to a rundown page of news items on the day.

The Live Events Coverage banner leads to a list of all the coverage on offer on the Eurovision network on the day.

These three pages are only accessible to Eurovision Members (not agencies). Users must log in to access them. The items on these pages are automatically updated every two minutes.

The Worldwide Special Events banner leads to a list of all the special events, not only Iraq-related, managed by Eurovision. This page is accessible to Eurovision Members and non-members, and users must log in to access this page.

The www.eurovision.net registered-user family is growing rapidly and now exceeds 2,000 users.
