The task of the Brussels office is to lobby
the European institutions in order to defend the vital interests of
the EBU and its Members.
The Brussels office gathers and sends to
EBU departments and Members all the information required for the
formulation of EBU positions.
The office organizes on-site seminars for
EU civil servants and Members of the European parliament to present
and explain EBU positions and convey key messages from the EBU and
its Members for these to be taken into account in the formulation
and implementation of European policy.
The Brussels office is also responsible for
projecting and improving the image of the EBU and its Members
through public relations exercises, in particular through the
screenings of sports events or programmes produced by the
Members.
