The Eurosonic Festival (10-12 January) is Europe's premier showcase for upcoming artists from across the continent. What started out more than 20 years ago as a one-day festival to promote Dutch bands has grown into a three-day event with over 180 European bands like Who Made Who, The Tellers, Pete and The Pirates, Hooverphonic, Aloan, Cathy Davey, Pete Phily and the Perquisite, Clara Luzia, perfroming on 20 different stages to industry figures and fans alike. The EBU is a key player in the event, making all recordings available on the Euroradio network.
