Eurovision TV Summit 2012: Special Focus on Scandinavia

After five inspiring Eurovision TV Summits in Lucerne Switzerland we are happy to announce that the Summit will now take place in a new location yearly. Our aim is that this will open new doors to discover the media landscape in different parts of Europe. Thanks to the kind invitation of DR, Denmark the upcoming Eurovision TV Summit 2012 will take place in Copenhagen.

The former “Common Focus Day” will be transformed into a “Special Focus Day” highlighting, this year, what Scandinavian broadcasters have contributed to public service media. It will be a unique opportunity to share, network and learn about their work and experiences. The “Special Focus Day” will of course embrace the ever popular “Proud to Present” showcasing the best in European public service programming of the year in all genres.

We are confident that the Eurovision TV Summit 2012 will provide a unique opportunity to gain valuable insight into the Scandinavian media scene. It will highlight current trends in programming and innovation and encourage the exchange between public service media. We very much look forward to seeing you in Copenhagen in April 2012.
