On Thursday and Friday of last week, the EBU P2P Group met to discuss technical aspects of content distribution using state-of-the-art peer-to-peer software. Since identifying peer-to-peer systems as attractive more than a year ago, the EBU and several members have started testing solutions. 

The P2P Group intends to gather experience 
and requirements to help members in using peer-to-peer technology. Evaluating the effectiveness of the technology is an important aspect.
