This Saturday: Junior Eurovision Song Contest live from Kyiv

Kyiv (Ukraine), 20 November 2009 – This Saturday at 20:15 CET, Europe will tune in for the 7th running of the Junior Eurovision Song Contest, live from the Palace of Sports in Kyiv, Ukraine. Young talents, all between 10 and 15 years old, from 13 countries are taking part in this year's edition. It will be up to viewers at home and professional juries all over Europe to decide upon the winner.
 
 
The 13 participants from all over Europe have been giving a final touch to their acts throughout the week and are now ready to surprise the millions who are expected to tune in.

The show will be aired live in Armenia, Azerbaijan, Belarus, Belgium, Bosnia & Herzegovina, Cyprus, FYR Macedonia, Georgia, Malta, the Netherlands, Romania, Russia, Serbia and Ukraine. Viewers in Australia and Sweden can watch the show deferred. The show will be webcast live on junioreurovision.tv which will also offer an exclusive backstage web stream.

The live show - a production of Ukrainian public broadcaster NTU and the European Broadcasting Union (EBU) - will be hosted by Ukraine's most popular singer Ani Lorak, and national celebrities Timur Miroshnichenko and Dmytro Borodin.
