Meeting with… Facebook – 15 January

Engage, use and reach out to new audiences

A meeting specially designed to gather EBU Members with Facebook representatives to learn and share information about Facebook’s grassroots social networking tool has been organised by Eurovision TV’s Interactive TV and Crossmedia group on 15 January at the EBU.

With an audience of more than 350 million unique visitors across Europe, social networking has become the phenomenon in the online world. Like commercial competitors, PSBs are strengthening their online offers and more content is becoming available on multiple platforms.

Objectives of meeting

  • Learn how to engage new audiences by using Facebook tools and platform;
  • Review EBU Members’ first experiences with Facebook (content & format; production
