Mr. Filli began his career 15 years ago in the Technical department of the regional radio and television centre, Koper-Capodistria, where he later became head of the radio production unit.

At RTV Slovenia he was initially responsible for the digitization of the Radio Slovenija's archives and then went on to became Deputy to the Director General of RTV Slovenia, responsible for technology and investments. 

Before his debut in public broadcasting, Mr. Filli cofounded and was editor-in-chief of one of the first private commercial radios in Slovenia. He has a masters in electronic engineering.
