pourla saison 2001-2002, l'uer offre
aux radios membres la chance de diffuser vingt opéras en direct du
metropolitan opera de new york. ces oeuvres exécutées dans ce qui
est la mecque des opéras dans le monde sont les joyaux de la
couronne de la saison euroradio. à l'occasion d'une courte visite à
new york cette semaine, le président de l'uer a pu visiter la
cabine de production, guidé par ellen godfrey du met avant
d'assister à une représentation de la tosca de
puccini. |

discussion avec armin walpen, directeur général et arthur haechler,
le responsable srg ssr pour ces jeux. srg ssr idée suisse dispose de 180
personnes sur place et offre aux téléspectateurs suisses trois
programmes différents en français, allemand et italien. les
auditeurs peuvent aussi suivre des programmes radio en
romanche. |

Arne Wessberg visits the Salt Lake
City facilities of SRG SSR idée suisse. The picture shows him in
discussion with Armin Walpen, director general, and Arthur
Haechler, the organisation's team leader in Salt Lake
City.
SRG SSR idée suisse has a team of 180
people working on the Olympic Games in Salt Lake City. It is
offering viewers in Switzerland three separate streams of
programming - in German, French and Italian. Radio listeners also
have the option of listening in Rumantsch.
President Wessberg visits the new EBU
offices in Washington. Here with bureau chief Olivier
Hinnewinkel.
In 2001-2002, the EBU will be offering its radio members
the chance to broadcast 20 operas live from the Metropolitan Opera
in New York. The operas from what is arguably the world's top opera
house are jewels in the crown of the Euroradio season.
During a brief visit to New York this
week, the EBU President was shown the production booth by the Met's
Ellen Godfrey before joining the audience for a production of
Puccini's "Tosca".
