The annual summer Communication Open Days opened in Hourtin, south-western France, on 24 August.

Debates, workshops and meetings will take place until 29 August.

The North-South digital divide, cultural diversity and globalization, digital terrestrial television (DTT) in France as well as Wi-Fi, ADSL, cable and satellite are some of the issues that are being discussed this year.
