WORLD MUSIC AWARDS 2003
The simultaneous broadcast on BBC Radio 3
and the EBU satellite of the World Music Awards 2003 ceremony at
the Ocean in London will take place on Thursday, 27 March
2003.

(Afghanistan), traditional songs from Afghanistan.
Africa Award and Critics’ Award for
Album of the Year: Orchestra Baobab
(Senegal)
A double award-winning ensemble, now re-formed after a break of two
decades.
