TV Music Experts

The TV Experts Group brings together members involved in the production of concerts, documentaries and other music and dance programming for main, second or cultural channels.
The group oversees coproduction projects such as Eurovision Young Musicians, Eurovision Choir as well as the distribution of major cultural events such as the New Year's Concert of the Vienna Philharmonic Orchestra.

Its purpose is to bring together Music Programme commissioners wishing to strengthen public service broadcasting through collaboration.

The main goals of the Music Experts group meetings are:

  • to network and exchnage information about industry trends and opportunities for classical music television;
  • to keep members informed about existing projects, including the Eurovision Young Musicians' and Eurovision Choir competitions and the rights with the Vienna Philharmonic Orchestra;
  • to develop and launch new co-productions and initiatives.

Our Music Experts Group meets once a year in plenary session during the Golden Prague Festival (September), and often informally at other industry events throughout the year.
