A delegation from China National Radio (CNR) visited the EBU’s headquarters this week at the end of a European tour of different broadcasters.

The EBU’s Media Director Jean Philip De Tender initially visited China earlier this year to discuss potential cooperation. Various areas for collaboration were discussed including cooperating on the Music Exchange, technological standards and sports events and coming up with innovative solutions for digital and hybrid radio.

CNR reaches a daily audience of around 500 million people across the country. China’s other two national media outlets CCTV and SMG are already Associate Members of the EBU.
