Radio and the Games

Salt Lake 2002

Arlette Dumont, Head of News and Sports at the EBU's Radio Department checks for herself that everything within her sector is in place and functioning well.

Most of Europe's public service radio broadcasters have set up bureaus at the IBC - from the Germans to the Czechs, via the Macedonians, Romanians and the British, to the Estonians and the Finns - and the list goes on.

From commentary positions reserved by Arlette Dumont, journalists report on and cover most of the events.
