Jean Stock visits NBC and a number of EBU Members

Salt Lake 2002

Having first toured the facilities of the larger EBU members present at Salt Lake City, the Secretary General of the EBU, accompanied by the EBU's Director of Operations Stefan Kürten, went on to meet with Peter Diamond, the Head of the NBC operation. The American broadcaster has fielded a team of 2,000 people and is broadcasting 400 hours of coverage from the Games.

The Secretary General of the EBU then visited a number of representatives of EBU Members covering the Olympics. These included the heads of teams for RTR (Russia), Radio SP (Sweden), NOS (Netherlands), RTVSLO (Slovenia), SSR SRG Idée Suisse, and YLE (Finland).
