Preparing your move to Live-IP TV production

Technology, workflow and market essentials for networked media production

The Master Class is designed to support EBU Members in their transition to a full live-IP production environment. The content undergoes constant review to ensure that participants are brought up to date with the latest standards, products and market trends. Held over 1.5 days, the Master Class is meant to give an overview on the issue and bring together IT and broadcast specialists around a common understanding of the key developments and challenges.

This particular Master Class will be held on the premises of the Broadcast Center Europe (BCE). BCE is a subsidiary company of the RTL group. In May 2017, BCE went live with its end-to-end IP infrastructure for the group's headquarters, RTL City in Luxembourg. The Master Class includes an on-site tour, in-depth presentation of the new BCE file-based facilities and a "hands-on" exercise on a test platform.
