FUTURE MEDIA MEETING
Forum for Members to discuss areas of common interest involving digital media in the content, format and delivery domains...
You are invited to a special event, "FUTURE MEDIA" during the Eurovision Media Summit, in Brussels, on Wednesday 29th May 2013.
The event will be divided into 3 parts:
1 - HERITAGE IS IMPORTANT
Join us for a morning session to find out how LEGO has created one of the world's most successful online communities, and how broadcasters could benefit from their experience and insight.
Peter Espersen, Head of LEGO's Online Communities, and Yun Mi Antorini, LEGO Community Strategist, will share their strategic building blocks with Claire Wardle, a social media expert who has worked extensively with the BBC and other broadcasters around the world. Claire is currently Director of News Services at Storyful, the social media news agency.
Participating at the event will be the newly created Future Media (FMG) and Access Service (ASG) Groups.
2 - INVOLVING FANS IN THE DAY TO DAY BUSINESS
In this session we will discuss the Golden Rules for managing Communities and some good and not-so-good case studies.
3 - LAB WORKSHOP
The attendees will be divided in working groups and have the opportunity to put into practice the knowledge and information Peter, Claire and Jun Me shared.
4 - FUTURE MEDIA GROUP ADVISORY BOARD
The LAB Workshop will be followed by a closed session (FMG Members only) where we will officially launch the Future Media Group (FMG) activities: the FMG will advise Eurovision Media Strategy on the future development of the EBU MEDIALAB.
