The Eurovision TV Assembly provides a unique opportunity for TV directors and decision-makers to discuss key ideas and strategies in TV management, production and programming.
The next Television Assembly will focus on the one topic that is high on everyone's agenda: how will digital dominate our future?. It will be revamped to be bigger and bolder, and include keynote presentations addressing crucial topics that matter in the media environment, case studies from industry experts, our famous Proud-to-present session and an update on EBU internal matters.
A future dominated by digital
For almost a century, radio and then television have been the dominant media. However, the new millennium brought us digital and today we struggle to fit it into its rightful place. One thing is for sure: digital is a game-changer, and almost 15 years into the new millennium, some people claim that digital is the new normal.
As such, the next Eurovision TV Assembly will focus on how digital media will dominate our future. The TV Assembly will also hold elections for TV Committee members, whose function it is to oversee the operations of the TV Unit. More information about this will follow in the spring, together with logistics details about registration, the venue and hotels.
