10th Legal and Public Affairs Assembly

The Legal and Public Affairs Assembly met in Geneva for a day and a half session on 15-16 October 2015. The Assembly focused on the EU Commission's Digital Single Market initiative, including the revision of the AVMS Directive, geo-blocking and copyright. There were also special topics on Big Data and the Transatlantic Trade and Investment Partnership Agreement, with guest speaker Pierre Defraigne, Executive Director of the Madariaga-College of Europe Foundation, offering his insights into the on-going negotiations.
