Eurovision Online Media Summit

The first-ever plenary event (Day 1) and Online Media Summit (Day 2) aimed at online managers, heads of digital and storytelling innovation labs, senior digital editors and producers, digital media strategists and anyone leading teams whose work covers digital storytelling, social media, media transformation or creating a digital-first culture.

Day 1 - Media Online Plenary Meeting (October 21)

The first Eurovision Media Online Plenary Meeting will include the elections of the Media Online Steering Committee and look at the vision and mission of the Eurovision Media Department. It will also be a chance for delegates to discuss key EBU projects in the area of online media, as well as progress reports about the transformative and collaborative projects currently being undertaken. The Plenary Session will be followed by a networking event.

Please write to Mike Mullane (mullane@ebu.ch) if you would like to stand in elections for the Online Steering Committee, or would like more information about its remit and areas of activity.

Day 2 - Online Media Summit: A day for inspiration and sharing ideas (October 22)

The Online Media Summit will showcase prominent speakers, case studies and lively discussions illustrating how some companies are innovating online and across platforms. There will be a small fee to attend this event, which will include:

1. Keynote speakers
2. Case studies
3. Strategy session: Adopting more agile ways of working and dismantling silos to create better content
4. Meet the heads of PSM Digital Storytelling Labs
5. Apps: serving audiences on mobile
6. Interactivity and social media
7. Digital, data-driven and transmedia storytelling
