PSM Contribution to Society Workshop

A practical, hands-on workshop exclusively for EBU Members to share experiences, raise questions and discuss ideas on the topic of PSM Contribution to Society. You will have the opportunity to meet peers that are fully involved in this initiative and obtain valuable insights to bring back to your organization.

09:30-10:00: Welcome coffee

10:00-10:30: Workshop introduction – By EBU Media Intelligence Service

10:30-12:30: Session 1: EBU Members’ experiences - colleagues from PSM organizations will share their best practices, key success factors and things to avoid when trying to measure their contribution to society

- Swedish Radio (Sweden) – Cecilia Roos, Head of Strategy

- YLE (Finland) – Kirsi Brück, Strategy

- ARD (Germany) – Per-Erik Wolff, Head of Media Policy

12:30-13:30: Lunch

13:30-15:00: Session 2: External speaker - Methodologies, good practices and examples of how to measure economic impact

- Oxford Economics (UK) - Henry Worthington, Associate Director

15:00-15:30: Coffee break

15:30-16:30: Session 3: Group activities - we will apply the learnings of the day to your own organization, so you can bring back home something to motivate your colleagues

16:30-17:00: Wrap-up

There will be a welcome dinner the evening before the event (6 October) at 20:00. Details will be provided to attendees in due course.

This event is exclusively for EBU Members by invitation. To ensure the dynamism of the workshop, the number of participants is limited to 30, with no more than 2 attendees from the same organization.
