The 2019 News Contacts Meeting took place in Limassol, Cyprus between 2 to 4 April.

The event brought together delegates from news, sports, news events and digital media for two days of sharing, learning and networking.    

This meeting was for EBU Members-only and participation was free of charge.

Last year 100 delegates representing 36 Members took part in the News Contacts Meeting in Cascais, Portugal, which brought together Members who nurture the News Exchange on daily basis.

They discussed, among other issues, how to better profit from the indispensable service that the News Exchange brings to their newsroom and how to fulfil their remit taking into account the restrictive copyright law.
