The Digital Services Act and the Digital Markets Act: Successful outcomes for European media and audiences

The Digital Services Act (DSA) and Digital Markets Act (DMA) aim to shape the next chapter of the Internet, providing a framework for innovation, fair competition, opinion-making and free speech.

A successfully delivered DSA and DMA will contribute to a better environment for Europe’s free and independent media – a pillar of a healthy democracy. Robust legislation will help to ensure that citizens across Europe and beyond can continue to enjoy the broad range of trusted news and information and the rich plurality of views that public service media offers.

Join the EBU’s new President, Delphine Ernotte Cunci, and Members of the European Parliament as they discuss the best possible outcomes for a thriving and sustainable media sector and what must be done to achieve them.
