Fiction Experts Plenary Meeting 2022

The EBU Fiction Experts Group consists of the heads of drama, drama commissioners and other profiles such as editors and producers working in the field, all representing EBU Members. At their annual meetings, these representatives get together to exchange new ideas, discuss the latest trends in drama, and share experiences, successes or failures.

After two years of COVID-19 and online meetings, we’re looking forward to our 2022 EBU Fiction Experts Plenary Meeting to take place in Rome (Italy) on Wednesday 12 (pm) and Thursday 13 (am) October 2022 at the kind invitation of Rai - Radiotelevisione Italiana and MIA - Mercato Internazionale Audiovisivo.

PROGRAMME

  • Wednesday 12 October (pm): Panel discussions, insights on the different fiction markets through in-depth analyses from trends watchers,
  • Thursday 13 October (am): In depth inspirational sessions and discussions touching on crucial points in our markets: Working with platforms, Linear vs. non-linear distribution, Writers’ rooms and the use of showrunners in Europe.

Attendance to the EBU Fiction Experts annual meeting is free of charge. .
