The 2023 Proud to Present Fiction will take place on Thursday 23 November. Taking place online, the event will allow EBU members who can't always join major content markets, to share their drama productions with their peers, as well as to give Members who do regularly attend such events to see a new cross-section of programmes.

Consisting in a showcase of the best European public service media's (PSM) recent fiction series for adults (from 16 y/o), these two 90’ sessions will represent a unique opportunity for EBU Members to present and exchange around those programmes. Let’s learn from colleagues who worked on them what made these programmes successful, hear about the way they’ve performed towards the audience and investigate whether those could eventually travel.

Call for submissions

If you have broadcast, published or scheduled a fiction series for adult these last months (up to 1 September 2022) or are planning to do so by no later than end of March 2024 take some time to read the attached Terms & Conditions and decide if you wish to submit your programme to the event. All documents are available in the document section below.

We are looking for the best TV and web fiction series for adults (as of 16 y/o) from all over the corners of Europe.

The 2023 EBU Proud to Present Fiction is open to all EBU Members, Active and Associates as well as Approved Participants.

The deadline for submission is 31 August 2023.
