Thanks to our partner and host, the 2024 edition of Proud to Present Fiction will take place on Tuesday 15 October from 15:00 to 18:30 CET, for the first time live, in the framework of MIA - Mercato Internazionale Audiovisivo, which will hold the 10th edition of the well-known Audiovisual International Market from 14 to 18 October in Rome. 

The event will allow EBU members to share their best drama productions, including recently produced programmes and forthcoming projects, with their peers, giving the EBU fiction community a chance to see a new cross-section of programmes.

Thanks to all who submitted entries, an Editorial Board of drama experts has selected the best recently released and upcoming fiction series for adults which will be presented and discussed during the event.

Attendance policy

Proud to Present Fiction 2024 is open to EBU Members as well as to industry professionals.

EBU Members whose programmes and projects are selected for presentation during the 2024 Proud to Present Fiction are expected to attend the EBU Fiction Experts Plenary Meeting, of which the Proud to Present 2024 is part of.

Producers are invited to attend the presentation in person only if they are registered to attend the MIA market. For sustainability reasons, no EBU member representatives or producers should travel only to attend the Proud to Present session.

Attendance to the EBU meetings is free of charge. Additionally, EBU Members' drama representatives are invited to consider attending MIA Market (incl. the Drama Pitching Forum) for which they can benefit from a preferential rate (150 €).
