The EBU seminar on spectrum policy ‘Why broadcasters need to take a position’ was organised on the 3rd June 2008 in Geneva.

The 14th EBU Technical Committee meeting took place in Mainz on 15 and 16 May 2008, preceded by a special seminar called "HDTV - How to manage the transition". The Assembly elected its senior body, the EBU Technical Committee, for a two-year term.
