This webinar explained what electromagnetic compatibility is and why it is important. Aiming to make this subject more accessible, it highlights some examples of interference sources and introduces the key standards bodies, showing how they relate to each other and how the EBU can influence outcomes.
TV Acquisitions Virtual Meeting
This meeting brings together acquisitions contacts from across TV programme genres for a briefing and discussion on a new EBU service to be launched after the summer break which will allow EBU members to launch collective pre-buys of high-end content. The service targets drama and factual programmes initially, but can be applied to live entertainment, events and other genres. During this meeting EBU TV and the Media Intelligence Service (MIS) will launch a jointly-commissioned survey to discover trends in acquisitions from within the public-service broadcasting sector, and from the wider industry.
