News Xchange is a two-day, annual conference focusing on bright ideas, opportunities and challenges for the international news industry.

This event gathers once a year very dedicated news editors and producers of children news across the EBU membership. They meet in order to exchange knowledge and best practices and discuss their current challenges, such as planning news on different platforms, reporting about difficult/hard topics for a kids audience, producing the best news storytelling on social media, being relevant to and staying connected with their young audience.

Navigating Rights in Fiction and Other Genres Workshop
The changing media landscape and the presence of global SVOD providers led EBU Member Organizations in investing in the production of better (and sometimes more expensive) titles – especially in fiction and documentaries – to meet the new competition. The result is that additional budgets often have to be secured to be able to coproduce with external producers.
