BIG DATA INITIATIVE
December 2018

Hello,

As we prepare to spend some quality time with friends and loved-ones, we wonder: what can we expect from 2019?

The EBU, for one, will start the year running with the launch of a Data Science working group in January. Its goal is to become a vibrant community for data experts to share resources, find practical solutions to common problems and exchange ideas.

This isn't the only thing that's planned. Expect more announcements in the coming months; but rest assured that the Big Data Initiative Newsletter will keep you up-to-date.

Wishing you all a very happy holiday,

Dr Pierre Nicolas Schwab
Chairman of the BDI Initiative and RTBF

Dr Hans Hoffmann
Senior Manager @ EBU Technology and Innovation
