5th News Technology Seminar

Come and find out how the BBC planned and created the biggest multimedia newsroom in Europe.

The fifth edition of the News Technology Seminar will be hosted by BBC this year on 23-24 May 2013 in London.

This year’s seminar venue is New Broadcasting House - the BBC’s state of the art, multimedia broadcasting centre in the heart of London – the new home for the BBC News output on TV, Radio and Online, for both its UK and international audiences and users.  

The highlight of the Seminar will be finding out how the BBC planned and created the biggest multimedia newsroom in Europe. Seminar participants will have an opportunity to tour the building.

Please note that due to limited number of places, maximum 2 participants per organisation can participate in the seminar.

Accommodation

A number of hotel rooms have been pre-reserved for participants near the BBC Broadcasting House. You will find details in the registration form. Please note that each participant will need to book his/her room directly with the hotel and that availability of the rooms cannot be guaranteed after 5 April.
